It\u2019s fully sharpened and built without a bohi groove, which adds more mass and cutting impact\u2014especially noticeable when slicing through tatami mats or bamboo.<\/p>\n
The tsuka (handle) is constructed in the traditional way, with a single bamboo mekugi peg anchoring everything in place. It\u2019s wrapped in real silk over genuine rayskin for a secure, classic grip.
