As expected from its name, the blade is forged from Crucible steel, differentially hardened, clay tempered, and Sashikomi polished to reveal a beautiful suguha (straight) hamon. This blade has a real yokote.<\/p>\n<p>It is then equipped with an iron maru gata (round) tsuba and brass fuchi Kashira that features ornate designs. It also comes with a brass menuki along with brass seppa and habaki. The Haichi style tsuka is first inlaid with white genuine samegawa and wrapped with artificial silk ito.
