The blade is secured to the tsuka using a mekugi for added stability. <\/p>\n<p>As its name implies, this wakizashi is equipped with a double iron ring tsuba, a design that was created by Musashi himself. It also features blackened brass fuchi, kashira, and menuki, along with copper seppa and habaki. The haichi style tsuka is first covered with white samegawa and wrapped with kapok ito from Japan.
