Utilized on horseback, its design influenced subsequent Japanese swords including the katana and wakizashi. <\/p>\n<p>Shadow Dancer&#8217;s Kinriko Muji Tachi is an ornate and masterpiece that    reminds us of the beauty of Japanese sword art. Featuring a shinogi zukuri (curved with yokote and shinogi close to the mune) folded steel blade forged from 1060 high carbon steel and, the differential heat treatment results in a stunning blade where the jihada and suguha hamon are accentuated through Sashikomi polishing. <\/p>\n<p>One mekugi secures the blade to the wooden Morozori style (resembles the shape and curve of the scabbard) tsuka while the artificial silk tsuka ito holds the white rayskin covering the hilt and hishigami, small folded paper triangles placed under the tsuka-maki wrap to uphold its shape and provide a firmer grip.
